Favourite for the 2014 Epsom Derby on Saturday 7th June is the Aiden O'Brien trained Australia. The colt by Galileo out of Ouija Board has been well fancied all season following bullish remarks from connections earlier in the year.
A winner of his Maiden at the Curragh in July last year he followed that up when winning a Group 3 over a mile by six lengths at Leopardstown. Beaten three quarters of a length into third place in the 2000 Guineas in May, that performance was good enough to see the bookmakers' slash his odds for the Derby. Epsom should suit as should the step up in trip to a mile and half given his parents were Derby and Oaks winners' respectively.

VERDICT: The Guineas third looked like he'd come on for the extra half a mile here and looks a major player.
