Camelot is this year's Epsom Derby favourite and is the main hope of Aidan O'Brien, who is likely to have a strong hand for Britain's richest horse race. The unbeaten three year old raced only twice as a two year old, winning on debut in a maiden at Lepardstown before landing the Group One Racing Post Trophy at Doncaster in October.
Camelot's trainer Aidan O'Brien will boast a strong hand for the Classic on the Epsom Downs as he bids to follow up on past success with Galileo and High Chaparral, with his ante-post favourite for this year's race having been a short priced favourite for some time now.
O'Brien's colt made his return to the racecourse as a three year old in May when winning the competitive 2,000 Guineas at Newmarket in brilliant style. He showed an explosive turn of foot to beat French Fifteen and he is on course for a potential Triple Crown by winning the Guineas, the Derby and the St Leger.

VERDICT: Impressive winner of 2,000 Guineas, Aidan O'Brien knows how to win a Derby and Camelot's explosive turn of foot makes him a formidable proposition.
