Carbon Dating Betting
Carbon Dating will be a huge outsider for the 2015 Investec Derby, and the JP Shanahan-trained colt will find it difficult against a top class field in the Epsom Classic on June 6 and is set to have to settle for the minor honours as he face a very stiff test.
- 23rd May 2015 - Curragh - Irish 2000 Guineas (Group 1) - 1m - 11th
- 10th May 2015 - Leopardstown - Derrinstown Stud Derby Trial (Group 3) - 1m 2f - 3rd
- 22nd April 2015 - Epsom - Investec Derby Trial - 1m 2f - 5th
JP Shanahan's Carbon Dating has been run in some top notch races this season, but on all three occasions he has been completely outclassed and he is expected to suffer the same fate here as he lines up in the 2015 Investec Derby at Epsom Downs on June 6.
He was fifth of five in the Investec Derby Trial at Epsom at the end of April, whilst he failed to land a blow in the Derrinstown Stud Derby Trial at Leopardstown, as he was demolished by Success Days, who is set to be a leading Irish figure in the Derby.
Carbon Dating was then last of 11 in the Irish 2000 Guineas at the Curragh, as he was yet again unable to deal with classy Group performers and his odds suggest that he should find things very tough to deal with when lining up in this elite showpiece.
