The Dee Stakes Derby Trial

This is a Group 3 Race, run over 10 furlongs at Chester each year during the three day May Festival meeting, and is the second of two Trials for the Epsom Derby held at the meeting; the first being the Chester Vase.

The last horse to win both the Dee Stakes and the Epsom Derby was the Sir Michael Stoute trained, Kris Kin in 2003 although the feat was also achieved in 1999 by Oath, trained by Henry Cecil and ridden by Kieren Fallon.
