Kingfisher is one of four entries in the 2014 Epsom Derby for trainer Aiden O'Brien on Saturday 7th June. Rated an outsiders chance by the bookmakers, the three year old colt is by Galileo and has one two of his six starts under rules.
A winner of his Maiden at Killarney last August, he was beaten by stablemate Australia in a Group 3 later in the season by eight and a half lengths. Disappointing again next time out finishing last in the Group 2 Royal Lodge Stakes ar Newmarket in September, he was again soundly beaten on debut this term finishing fifth in the Group 3 Ballysax Stakes at Navan behind Fascinating Rock.
A one length winner at Chester last time out in the Dee Stakes, he's sure to enjoy a step up in trip to a mile and a half at Epsom but has plenty to find on a couple of the market leaders here.

VERDICT: Outsider who has plenty of form to find on a couple here. Big price for a Ballydoyle entry.
