Kingston Hill Betting
Kingston Hill is a leading contender for the 2014 Epsom Derby on Saturday 7th June and Roger Varian will be hoping that his colt can rediscover his juvenile form. The son of Mastercraftsman was last seen finishing a disappointing eighth in the 2,000 Guineas at Newmarket but connections will hope to have him right for his latest Classic outing .
Kingston Hill enjoyed a fantastic campaign as a 2-year-old as he won at Newbury on his first start in September before completing an illustrious hat-trick the following month. Varian's colt landed the Group Three Autumn Stakes before taking a step up to Group One level in his stride by romping to victory in the Racing Post Trophy at Doncaster. His debut outing this year was something of a letdown though as he finished mid-field in the 2,000 Guineas in May and Varian will be hoping for a little more luck in-running at Epsom.

VERDICT: The Racing Post Trophy winner is a genuine contender on juvenile form but he must improve from a disappointing return in the 2,000 Guineas.
