Ruler Of The World Betting
Ruler Of The World is one of the entries of Aiden O'Brien in this year's Epsom Derby on Saturday 1st June. The colt is by Galileo and is unbeaten in both of his career starts. The Ballydoyle based trainer is looking for his 4th Derby success after previously winning the race with Galileo (2001), High Chaparral (2002) and last year with Camelot.
A winner of his Maiden last year at the Curragh by three quarters of a length in April 2012, Ruler Of The World was off the racecourse for over a year before he returned in style when landing the Group 3 Chester Vase over a mile and a half in May. Granted he didn't have to beat much at Chester but he went away to win well by six lengths and that race has been a decent trial for the Derby. The win was only enough to give him a rating of 109 so improvement will be needed to win this you have to think. However, he's the only colt in the race with winning form over a mile and a half and at 10/1 represents a decent each-way price.

VERDICT: Ruler Of The World will get the trip and won a good trial in the shape of the Chester Vase. A lively each-way chance.
