With Pour Moi all the rage in the ante-post betting, Vadamar represents the other French runner in this year's Epsom Derby. Alain De Royer-Dupre trains this three year old who was a beaten odds on favourite last time out, to one other than the aforementioned Pour Moi.
A winner of two of his four runs in France, Vadamar comes to Epsom off the back of a two and a half defeat to Pour Moi in a Group 2 at Saint Cloud in May. Before that, the son of Dalakhani won a listed race at the same track in April and also scored as a two year old in a conditions race at Misons-lafitte last November.
Owned by HRH Aga Khan he has a good pedigree although his best form to date has come on the softer ground in France. Christophe-Patrice Lemaire is likely to take the ride.

VERDICT: Owned by the Aga Khan, beaten by Pour Moi last time out and ground be a bit quick for him.
